This notice explains cookies and similar browser storage on the Surplus Stock Solutions website. Optional Google Analytics is currently disabled. You can enquire about stock without agreeing to analytics.
The website’s current configuration
The website does not load its optional Google Analytics script, set its analytics cookies or save an analytics preference while that integration is disabled. It does not create a local PHP enquiry-session cookie. Our own website fonts and icons are served from this site.
Cookies are small items stored by a browser. Similar rules can also apply to local storage and other technologies that store or read information on your device. A browser connection can disclose technical information, such as an IP address, even when no cookie is set.
Cognito enquiry forms
The Contact and Sell your stock pages load forms supplied by Cognito Forms. Cognito’s published privacy policy says that it does not use cookies on public or embedded forms, or track customers as they complete those forms. Loading the form still sends the browser requests needed to display and operate it.
Our Privacy policy explains the information used to handle your enquiry, the form provider and international processing. You can contact us directly by telephone or email if you prefer.
Your browser and privacy choices
You can view, block or remove cookies and other site data through your browser settings. Blocking external scripts can prevent a Cognito form from loading. You can still call 07737 709370 or email info@surplusstocksolutions.co.uk.
Clearing browser storage does not delete information already held in Cognito, email correspondence or business records. Use the same contact details to ask about that information or make a privacy request. The Privacy policy explains your rights and the ICO complaint route.
